Caffeine-free companions to our teas
Herbal infusions, also called tisanes, are made from flowers, leaves, roots and spices rather than the tea plant, so they contain no caffeine. We choose them the same way we choose our teas: single-origin, from small producers, and good enough to drink on their own.
How we pick them
- Single origin: each herb or spice comes from one place and one producer, so you can taste where it grew.
- Clean and simple: no added flavorings, just the plant itself.
- A reason to be here: they pair with tea, or stand in for it in the evening.
Questions
Is an herbal tea really tea?
Not technically. Only Camellia sinensis is tea, but "herbal tea" is the everyday name for infusions of other plants.
Can I drink these at night?
Yes. Without caffeine, they make a good evening cup.
